Watches & Warnings

Flash Flood Watch
Issued: 3:40 AM EDT Jun. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of east central Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West
Virginia, including the following areas, in east central Ohio,
Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison,
Jefferson OH, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble, and Tuscarawas. In
Pennsylvania, Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette,
Greene, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland. In West
Virginia, Brooke, Hancock, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio,
and Wetzel.

* Through this evening

* repeated periods of heavy rainfall are possible today. The
combination of a prolonged heavy rain threat and already
saturated ground will provide optimal conditions for flash
flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
