* Flood Warning for...
Seneca County in northwestern Ohio...
Sandusky County in northwestern Ohio...
Wood County in northwestern Ohio...
northern Hancock County in northwestern Ohio...

* until 1000 PM EDT Thursday.

* At 102 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
flooding. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen. Rain is
expected to continue in the warned area through early evening.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Findlay, Bowling Green, Tiffin, Fremont, Fostoria, Bellevue, CLyde,
North Baltimore, Gibsonburg, Woodville, McComb, Weston, Elmore,
Green Springs, Bloomville, Arcadia, Van Buren, New Riegel,
Ballville and Pemberville.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 8 PM EDT this
evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Ohio, northeast Ohio, and Northwest
Ohio, including the following areas, in north central Ohio,
Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Knox, Lorain, Marion, Morrow,
and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Holmes,
Lake, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, and
Wayne. In Northwest Ohio, Hancock, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky,
Seneca, wood, and Wyandot.

* Until 8 PM EDT this evening

* localized areas of moderate to heavy rainfall will continue
over the region today. Any heavier rainfall amounts will
quickly run off, which may lead to additional or worsening
flooding. Additional rainfall amounts today of one to two
inches will be possible.

A Flash Flood Watch is issued when there is a potential for flash
flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. Monitor
the forecast and be prepared to take action should flash flood
warnings be issued or if flooding develops.
