Flood Warning
Issued: 5:54 PM EDT Jun. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Scioto River at Circleville
* until Sunday morning.
* At 4 PM the stage was 18.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 15 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* The river will continue rising to near 18.9 feet after midnight
tonight. The river will fall below flood stage on Sunday morning.
* At stages near 19 feet, flooding may affect businesses near mill and
canal roads, as well as island Road and State Route 762. Backwater
flooding along big Darby Creek causes flooding near the old Shady
Acres Mobile Home Park. The city of Circleville itself is not affected
until a stage near 30 feet.
