... Locally dense fog through early this morning...

Areas of fog, some locally dense, will continue mainly in river
valleys through early this morning. Areas within and adjacent to
the Mohawk River valley, Hudson River valley, Connecticut River
valley, and Housatonic River valley will be most susceptible to
dense fog.

Visibilities may drop to under one quarter of a mile at times in
these areas. Motorists should be prepared to encounter locally
reduced visibilities this morning. Use low beam headlights, and
allow for increased braking distance when encountering the dense
fog.

The fog is expected to lift with improving visibilities between 7
and 9 am this morning.
