The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of east Arkansas, north Mississippi, and west
Tennessee, including the following areas, in east Arkansas,
Craighead, Crittenden, cross, Lee, Mississippi, Phillips,
Poinsett, and St. Francis. In north Mississippi, Benton,
Coahoma, DeSoto, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Quitman,
Tallahatchie, Tate, Tunica, and Yalobusha. In west Tennessee,
Fayette, Hardeman, Haywood, Lauderdale, Madison, Shelby, and
Tipton.

* Through this evening

* 1 to 3 inches of rainfall, with localized 4 inch amounts.

* Flash flooding could lead to life threatening situations for
motorists and individuals exposed to low lying areas or rapidly
rising creeks and rivers.
