... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through late tonight...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Flash Flood Watch for the kincade fire burn area and downstream
locations.
* From 4 PM this afternoon through 4 am Saturday morning.
* Steady rain will develop late this afternoon and continue into
tonight before turning showery Saturday. Excessive rain rates
and rainfall amounts from 2 to 4 inches may trigger flash
flooding over the burn area. Rain rates of half an inch per
hour will be possible during the cold frontal passage tonight.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 am PST Saturday...
* what... south winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected.
* Where... the greater San Francisco Bay area, the central coast
and San Benito County. Although the entire forecast area is
included in the Wind Advisory, there will be areas that are
sheltered from the advisory level winds. These areas include
some of interior valleys and parts of the southern Santa Clara
Valley. The strongest winds are expected along the coast, in
the hills and focused over the North Bay as the front passes
through tonight.
* When... from 10 am Friday to 7 am PST Saturday.
* Impacts... gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Downed trees and downed Powers lines may lead to travel hazard
or power outages.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
