Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 12:33 AM CDT Sep. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CDT this morning...

The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 10 am CDT this morning.

* Visibility... dropping to one-quarter mile or less in many areas
as fog develops overnight.

* Impacts... slow travel due to low visibility. In some areas,
visibility may be near zero at times. The Friday morning commute
will be impacted.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
