Special Statement
Issued: 3:02 AM EST Dec. 16, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Slippery roads due to light snow accumulations through the
morning...

Light to occasionally moderate snow will move northeastward
this morning. The snow will then taper off by mid morning.
Accumulations of up to 1 to 2 inches are expected, mainly south
of Highway 30. A light dusting to 1 inch of snow may be possible
north of Highway 30 towards the Lakeshore. With temperatures well
below freezing in the middle to upper 20s, the snow will easily
stick to untreated Road surfaces and cause slick travel
conditions for the morning commute. Motorists are advised to
drive slowly and increase following distance between their vehicle
and other vehicles when driving on snow or slush covered roads.

Remember... ice and snow, take it slow!
