* Arroyo and small stream flood advisory for...
northwestern Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...
eastern San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
Harding County in northeastern New Mexico...
De Baca County in east central New Mexico...
north central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...
western Quay County in east central New Mexico...
west central Curry County in east central New Mexico...

* until 215 am MDT.

* At 1209 am MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a line
of thunderstorms extending from Gladstone and Clayton to the
southwest to near Elkins. This will cause Arroyo and small stream
flooding in the advisory area. This includes Interstate 40 between
Cuervo and to the east of Tucumcari.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tucumcari, Fort Sumner, Mosquero, Quay, Logan, house, Bueyeros,
Ragland, Montoya and Taiban.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
