evening...

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of Maine and New Hampshire, including
the following areas, in Maine, Androscoggin, coastal
Cumberland, coastal Waldo, coastal York, interior Cumberland,
interior Waldo, interior York, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, and
Sagadahoc. In New Hampshire, Belknap, coastal Rockingham,
eastern Hillsborough, interior Rockingham, Merrimack,
Strafford, and western and central Hillsborough.

* From late tonight through Saturday evening

* a long duration rainfall event may cause area rivers to rise
sharply.
