the Presumpscot River at Westbrook.
* Until Sunday afternoon.
* At 06pm Saturday the stage was 18.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by tomorrow
morning.
* Impact... at 15.0 feet... minor lowland flooding..

* At 403 PM EST, the public reported flooding along and near the
southwest coast of Maine and along the seacoast area of New
Hampshire.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Portland, Lewiston, South Portland, Biddeford, Portsmouth,
Brunswick, Westbrook, Hampton, Exeter, Kittery, Alfred, Topsham,
Sanford, Dover, Cumberland, Saco, Gorham, Somersworth, Falmouth and
Kennebunk.

This also includes...
Hampton Beach, York Beach, Ogunquit Beach, Wells Beach, and
fortunes Rock Beach.
Peaks Island, Long Island, Cushing Island, Cousins Island, and

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Hampshire and south central, southwest, west central and
western Maine.

* When... from 10 am Sunday to 1 am EST Monday.

* Impacts... gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.

... Patchy dense fog expected through late this evening...

Plenty of moisture remains from the heavy rains that fell today.
Winds have become light, allowing for patchy dense fog to develop
across western Maine and New Hampshire.

Visibilities will continue to occasionally fall to quarter mile
in some locations this evening. Slow down in traveling and be
prepared for difficult driving conditions. A cold front will sweep
across the region very late this evening, allowing drier air to
enter the region on increasing westerly winds.
