Special Statement
Issued: 12:10 PM CDT Sep. 22, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Elevated wildland fire danger this afternoon...

The combination of very dry vegetation conditions and gusty
southwest winds from 20 to 30 mph will increase the wildfire and
brushfire risk this afternoon into early this evening. Rather low
relative humidity levels from 30 to 40 percent will also compound
the situation. Conditions will improve after as the sun lowers
this evening, as wind gusts subside and relative humidity
increases.
