... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until midnight CST
Monday night...

* what... mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations of 2
to 4 inches. Ice accumulations of a light glaze north of I-70,
and up to a tenth of an inch south.

* Where... portions of central, east central, and southeast
Illinois. The northern extent is along a Jacksonville to Decatur
to Paris line, with the southern extent from Effingham to
Robinson.

* When... the initial period of snow and mixed precipitation will
taper off after midnight. The next round is expected to begin
toward midday Monday, and continue into Monday evening.

* Impacts... Road conditions are hazardous, and will likely impact
the morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
