The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a dense
fog advisory, which is in effect until 10 am EDT this morning.

* Visibility... less than a quarter of a mile at times.

* Impacts... reduced visibility and hazardous travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

... Patchy dense fog possible across portions of north and central
Georgia through late morning...

Patchy dense fog has developed over portions of northern and
central Georgia, especially across the valleys in the north
Georgia mountains. Visibilities could be reduced to a quarter of a
mile or less at times.

If driving, using extra caution, slow down, increase the
distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you, and use
your low-beam headlights if you encounter reduced visibilities.
Fog is expected to clear by late morning.
