... Winter Storm Watch now in effect from late Friday night
through Sunday afternoon...

* what... moderate to heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations
of 8 to 16 inches with locally higher amounts possible. Expect
lower amounts of 1 to 4 inches across the lower elevations near
the La Sal and Abajo Mountains. Winds could gust as high as 45
mph.

* Where... in Utah, La Sal and Abajo Mountains. In Colorado,
northwest and southwest San Juan Mountains including Red
Mountain and Lizard Head passes, and Uncompahgre Plateau and
Dallas Divide.

* When... from late Friday night through Sunday afternoon.

* Impacts... travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility, especially on ridge tops
and mountain passes. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found
