The National Weather Service in Oxnard has issued a

* urban and small stream flood advisory for...
east central Los Angeles County in southwestern California...

* until 130 PM PST.

* At 1035 am PST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain occurring
across eastern Los Angeles County from about Monrovia to Azusa and
southwestward to Downey. Rain rates up to 0.50 inch per hour will
create ponding of water on freeways and flooding of low-lying
areas. Brief heavy rain, small hail, and lightning will be
possible in the flood advisory area.
