... Flash Flood Watch in effect from 7 PM PST this evening through
Saturday evening for the Camp, Carr/Delta/hirz, and Mendocino 
complex burn areas... 

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a 

* flash Flash Flood Watch for the Camp, Carr/Delta/hirz, and Mendocino
  complex fire burn areas in Butte, Shasta, and lake counties in 
  northern California.
 
* From 7 PM PST this evening through Saturday evening

* a winter storm moving into the area tonight and continuing
  through tomorrow will bring heavy rain and isolated
  thunderstorms to much of northern California. Rainfall rates
  could exceed one half inch per hour at times leading to
  hazardous conditions due to flooding, rock and debris flows. The
  highest threat for flash flooding and debris flows for the
  Carr/Delta/hirz and Mendocino complex burn areas will be both
  this evening and again tomorrow. The highest threat for flash
  flooding and debris flows for the Camp fire burn area will be
  tomorrow morning and afternoon. These areas have been severely
  burned and can no longer absorb rainfall, leading to enhanced
  runoff, flooding, and possible debris flows. Anyone living or
  traveling on roads in and near these burn scars should use
  extreme caution.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

This could quickly become a dangerous situation. Hunters... 
residents... and persons traveling within the Camp burn area in
Butte County, the Carr/Delta/hirz burn area in Shasta County, and
the Mendocino complex burn area in Lake County should remain 
alert and take action should heavy rain develop.

A Flash Flood Watch for a burn area means that conditions may
develop that lead to flash floods... Rockslides... and/or debris
flows.

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10 PM this evening to
1 PM PST Saturday... 

* what... southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 30 to 50 mph 
  expected.

* Where... northern Sacramento Valley, central Sacramento Valley, 
  southern Sacramento Valley, Carquinez Strait and Delta and 
  northern San Joaquin Valley counties.

* When... from 10 PM this evening to 1 PM PST Saturday.

* Impacts... gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. 
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may 
  result.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
