Special Statement
Issued: 2:56 PM AKDT Sep. 22, 2019 – National Weather Service

... More rises on streams Monday through potentially Wednesday...

While area rivers, streams, and lakes are falling Sunday after
the heavy rainfall on Friday and Friday night, more rain is
forecast for the area early Monday into Tuesday. While rainfall is
not forecast to be as heavy as the Friday weather system,
saturated ground especially across the north and central Panhandle
could produce bankfull conditions. Although not likely, there is a
chance of some isolated nuisance flooding.

Due to recent ground saturation and more rain with monday's
system ahead as well as strong gusty winds mainly along the coast
and for the south, there is a slight risk of landslides.
