..heavy rain over the southern half of Southeast Alaska to
continue through Sunday morning...

A weather system will continue to produce moderate to heavy rain
over the southern half of the Panhandle through Sunday morning.
Creeks, streams, and Hydro power reservoirs are already swollen
from heavy precipitation received earlier this week. However, rain
rates have diminished slightly from what was observed overnight
Friday night at present, forecast totals between Saturday
afternoon afternoon and early Sunday morning range from around
0.75 inches to 1.25 inches near sea level. Therefore, no flooding
is currently expected.
