Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 4:19 AM AKST Nov. 13, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning now in effect from 9 am this morning to
noon akst Friday...

* what... snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on difficult
travel conditions. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches
expected. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph will cause areas of
blowing and drifting snow reducing the visibility to one half
mile or less at times.

* Where... central interior.

* When... 9 am today to noon Friday.

* Additional details... strong winds and blowing snow will
develop during the day on Wednesday, with the strongest gusts
expected along the Elliott Highway. Snowfall will begin
Thursday morning. The highest snowfall amounts are expected
south of Minto.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow means severe
winter weather conditions are expected. This will make travel
