expected.

* Where... Ventura County coast.

* When... from 5 am Thursday to 3 PM PDT Friday.

* Impacts... gusty winds will make driving difficult and could
blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down
and a few power outages may result.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.





Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 9:16 AM PDT Oct. 23, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect from 1 am Thursday to 10 PM
PDT Friday for wind and low relative humidity for much of Los
Angeles and Ventura counties...

* winds... northeast 20 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.
Strongest in the mountains and hills.

* Relative humidity... as low as 2 to 5 percent. Very poor
overnight recoveries.

* Temperature... as high as 87 to 97 degrees. Warmest on Friday.

* Impacts... if fire ignition occurs, conditions will be
favorable for extreme fire behavior and rapid growth which
would threaten life and property.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution with
potential fire ignition sources.
