The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a

* flood advisory for...
northern Buffalo County in south central Nebraska...
southern Sherman County in central Nebraska...
Dawson County in south central Nebraska...
southern Howard County in central Nebraska...
northern Hall County in south central Nebraska...

* until 1145 am CDT.

* At 844 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated that 1.5 to 4 inches of
rain had fallen across much of the advisory area. There was likely
even an isolated area of 4 to 5 inches of rainfall near St libory.
This rainfall will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

Small creeks across the area are running full and minor flooding
will be possible along some of these creeks throughout the morning
hours.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
