... Flash Flood Watch in effect until 10 am CDT this morning...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of Illinois and east
central Iowa, including the following areas, in Illinois,
Bureau, Henry IL, Putnam, Rock Island, and Whiteside. In east
central Iowa, Clinton and Scott.

* Until 10 am CDT this morning

* wet soils with rainfall rates of up to 1 to 2 inches an hour
could lead to flash flooding into this morning.

* Be prepared for rapidly rising water levels and possible
flooding if you are near a river, stream, or low lying area.
Be ready to move to higher ground if heavy rain develops.
