The Flood Warning continues for
the James River near Stratford.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:45 am Monday the stage was 16.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 17.2 feet by
Monday October 21st. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 17.0 feet... County roads begin flooding and the Road 2 miles
north of the gauging location is one of the first to flood.

* At 9:46 am Monday the stage was 15.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 17.3 feet by
Monday October 21st. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 17.0 feet... water reaches the base of the levee at the Columbia
Park.
