Special Statement
Issued: 3:49 PM EST Dec. 12, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Slick spots possible during the pre-dawn hours late tonight
into early Friday...

A period of freezing rain will be possible late tonight into early
Friday morning, mainly in the more sheltered valley locations, as
temperatures will drop into the upper 20s by around midnight
tonight. Temperatures will then gradually rise to above freezing
through dawn on Friday, ending the freezing rain threat. Some
icing will be possible on elevated surfaces such as decks and
railings. Additionally, any bridges or overpasses that are
located in sheltered hollows, could also see some minor glazing.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling late tonight
into early Friday morning.
