... Isolated gusty thunderstorms through early this evening...

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across the area through
about sunset. The main threat from these thunderstorms will be
strong outflow wind gusts over 50 mph and lightning. Please pay
attention to the weather in your area as strong wind gusts can
often occur well ahead of the parent thunderstorm. Lightning
strikes can also occur a few miles from the base of the
thunderstorm. Boaters and fisherman should also be alert for any
nearby storms. Get out of the water if you see a thunderstorm near
your area. The storms will generally move east to northeast at 15
to 25 mph.

... Elevated fire conditions continue today...

Elevated fire weather conditions can be expected for all of the
southwest quadrant in addition to south central Wyoming this
afternoon and evening. Relative humidity will be in the teens this
afternoon and evening across the lower elevations... and the upper
teens to around 30 percent in the mountains. Winds will be west
10 to 15 mph with occasional afternoon gusts 20 to 25 mph at
times. Residents, travellers, and campers this weekend are
encouraged to take strong caution if considering any type of
burning activities. Please follow local burning rules. In
addition, do not drive off the area roadways as dry vegetation
could easily catch on fire.
