Flood Warning
Issued: 10:44 AM CST Dec. 13, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Menominee river near Pembine.
* At 10:00 am Wednesday the stage was 15.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Impacts at 16.0 feet. An ice jam is likely occurring. Flooding
affects mainly lowland and forested land adjacent to the river.

... Hazardous travel conditions into early afternoon...

Light to moderate snow will gradually come to an end across
central and northern Wisconsin through the early afternoon. The
snow will reduce visibilities to between one half and one mile.
Brief periods of heavy snow are possible as well, with
visibilities near a quarter mile.

North to northeast winds will increase through the early
afternoon hours, with gusts between 15 and 20 mph expected,
creating minor blowing and drifting snow.

Snow covered roads and reduced visibilities will result in
hazardous travel conditions. Motorists are urged to slow down,
keep a safe distance between vehicles, and allow extra time to
reach their destination.
