Special Statement
Issued: 3:29 AM EST Dec. 13, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Areas of freezing drizzle and slick travel possible this evening...

Areas of drizzle with pockets of freezing drizzle will develop
across parts of southern and eastern Vermont by late this
afternoon and expand into portions of northern Vermont and New
York by early evening. This will lead to the formation of a light
glaze, especially across the deeper mountain valleys of Vermont
and northern New York. Use caution if traveling across these
areas early this evening, as conditions can change quickly when
encountering these pockets of freezing drizzle. The threat for
icing and slick travel should end by early Saturday morning.
