Winter Storm Watch

... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Saturday afternoon
through Sunday afternoon...

* what... heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations of 7 to 12 inches and ice accumulations of up to
two tenths of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 35
mph Sunday afternoon, with areas of blowing and drifting snow.

* Where... in Pennsylvania, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike and
southern Wayne counties. The heaviest snow is expected to fall
Saturday evening into Saturday night. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2
inches per hour are possible during this time. The best chance
to see a mix of sleet and freezing rain will be between 12 am
to 8 am Sunday.

* When... from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.

* Additional details... travel could be very difficult to
impossible. Also, winds will pick up considerably Sunday
afternoon, causing blowing snow and dangerously low wind
chills into Sunday night.
