The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
northern Lincoln County in central Oklahoma...
southeastern Payne County in central Oklahoma...

* until 1045 am CDT.

* At 751 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain which will cause flooding. Three to four inches of rain
has fallen in some areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cushing, Perkins, Stroud, Yale, Davenport, Carney, Tryon, Ripley,
Agra, Kendrick, Quay, Avery, Ingalls and Parkland.

Additional rainfall amounts of one inch is likely in the warned area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
