... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Sunday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Arkansas and Oklahoma... including the following
counties... in Arkansas... Crawford... Franklin and Sebastian. In
Oklahoma... Choctaw... Haskell... Latimer... Le Flore...
Pittsburg... Pushmataha and Sequoyah.

* Through Sunday morning

* additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches will be possible
across parts of southeast Oklahoma into western Arkansas.

* These rainfall amounts could lead to flash flooding,
especially near low-lying areas and smaller creeks and
streams. Minor to moderate river flooding is also possible
over those basins which receive the highest amounts.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means rapidly rising water or flooding is
possible within the watch area.

If you are in the watch area, keep informed, and be ready for
quick action if flash flooding is observed or if a warning is
issued.
