Issued: 8:32 PM EDT Aug. 25, 2019 – National Weather Service

... High rip current risk in effect through Monday evening...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a high rip
current risk, which is in effect through Monday evening.

* Locations... the beaches of New Jersey and Delaware.

* Timing... through Monday evening.

* Surf zone impacts... very strong rip currents will be a danger
to anyone who enters the surf.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Stay out of the surf. If you are ever caught in a rip current,
relax and float. Do not swim against the current. If possible,
swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape,
face the shore and call or wave for help.
