The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Southern York County in east central Nebraska...
southeastern Hamilton County in south central Nebraska...
northwestern Fillmore County in south central Nebraska...

* until 500 PM CDT Thursday.

* At 505 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding along
the West Fork of the big Blue River. Flooding is expected along
the West Fork of the big Blue River through Thursday from just
downstream of Giltner through at least McCool Junction. At this
time the highest water is likely between the Stockham and Lushton
area and will move more into the McCool Junction area by Thursday.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
