... Flash Flood Watch in effect from Tuesday morning through
Wednesday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of western Nebraska and
Wyoming, including the following areas, in western Nebraska,
Box Butte, Dawes, North Sioux, Scotts Bluff, and south Sioux.
In Wyoming, Converse County lower elevations, east Platte
County, Goshen County, and Niobrara County.

* From Tuesday morning through Wednesday afternoon

* a stalled frontal boundary will bring numerous rounds of showers
and thunderstorms capable of heavy rainfall through Wednesday.
The combination of saturated ground from recent rainfall and the
additional storms will bring the possibility of flash flooding
across southeastern Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
