... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST Thursday
above 3500 feet...

* what... snow occurring. Very cold wind chills expected above 3500
feet. Plan on slippery Road conditions. Additional snow
accumulations of up to one inch are expected. Above 3500 feet,
expect wind chills to range from 5 above zero to 10 below zero.

* Where... portions of western North Carolina.

* When... for the Winter Weather Advisory, until 10 am EST this
morning. For the Wind Chill Advisory, until 7 am EST Thursday.

* Additional details... be prepared for reduced visibilities at
times. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as
30 minutes to exposed skin. Very cold temperatures will result
in only marginal improvement to Road conditions today. Any
melting that does occur will quickly refreeze after sunset.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
