The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 am this morning to 6 PM EST
this evening.

* Winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Timing... from mid morning through sunset.

* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Due to a saturated ground, a few shallow rooted trees will be
toppled over.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph or
wind gusts of 40 to 55 mph are expected. Winds of this magnitude
are capable of knocking down old or weakened trees and can make
driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
