... Strong Spring storm to bring a mixed bag of precipitation...

A strong Spring storm will begin to affect the plains of north
central Montana during the late afternoon hours today.
Precipitation initially in the form of rain, is expected to change
over to sleet, snow, and or light freezing rain across most
areas. A light glaze of ice will be possible where light freezing
rain is observed, with up to one inch of snow being possible south
of the United States Highway 2 corridor. For those calving,
conditions tonight could be extreme for Newborn livestock due to
falling temperatures, breezy winds, and wet conditions.
