Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 2:33 AM MDT Mar. 25, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am MDT early
this morning...

* what... mixed precipitation expected. Total wet snow
accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of a
light glaze are expected.

* Where... northern valley, northern Phillips, central and
southeast Phillips and central and southern valley counties,
generally along and north of Highway 2.

* When... until 6 am MDT this morning.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions,
especially on bridges and overpasses. Outdoor surfaces may
become slick as well. Expect reduced visibilities at times.
These conditions will also stress Newborn livestock. Areas of
freezing rain have occurred along Highway 2. Patchy fog is also
expected this morning.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.

While driving slow down, provide plenty of time to reach your
destination, and extra breaking distance between yourself and the
vehicle in front of you. The latest Road conditions for any state
can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

The Flood Warning continues for
the milk river at Nashua.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:00 PM Sunday the stage was 22.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 24.6 feet by
early Friday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.

* At 11:20 PM Sunday the stage was 28.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 31.0 feet by
Thursday morning then begin falling.

* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 21.6 feet by
Tuesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday
evening.

until 315 PM MDT Monday for northeastern Phillips... Daniels...
Roosevelt... Central Valley and Sheridan counties...

At 921 PM MDT, small stream flooding continues across portions of
northeastern Phillips County, Central Valley County, Daniels County,
Sheridan County, and Roosevelt County due to a combination of
snowmelt and some minor ice jams.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
the Cherry Creek west of Glasgow, the frenchmen creek in eastern
Phillips County, the big Muddy Creek in Sheridan County, and many
tributaries in Daniels and Roosevelt County.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
