Winter Storm Warning, Wind Chill Advisory

... Winter Storm Warning in effect until 3 PM CST this afternoon...
... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 am CST

* what... snow occurring. Very low wind chills occurring.
Dangerous travel conditions exist. Additional snow accumulations
of up to one inch are possible. Expect wind chills in the lower
single digits to around zero.

* Where... in Louisiana, West Carroll and East Carroll County. In
Mississippi, Humphreys, Issaquena and Sharkey County.

* When... for the Winter Storm Warning, until 3 PM today. For the
Wind Chill Advisory, now to 10 am Wednesday.

* Additional details... look for significant reductions in
visibility at times. Long exposure to the low wind chills may
cause frostbite to exposed skin.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means hazardous winter weather
conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
emergency. The latest Road conditions for the state you are
calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can

... Hard freeze warning remains in effect until noon CST

* temperature... temperatures will remain below freezing through
Thursday morning in most locations. Overnight lows will be in
the teens both tonight and Wednesday night. Afternoon highs on
Wednesday are expected to remain below freezing in most areas.

* Impacts... prolonged exposure could lead to hypothermia and may
harm pets and livestock. Exposed plumbing is in danger of
being damaged.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A hard freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are
imminent or highly likely. These conditions will be dangerous to
people and pets without adequate shelter and could damage exposed
