The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* flood advisory for...
southwestern Texas County in south central Missouri...

* until 1145 am CDT.

* At 842 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two to three inches of rain have already fallen overnight.

* Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
susceptible to the dangers of flooding.
