Lakeshore Flood Advisory
Issued: 4:14 AM EDT Oct. 21, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Lakeshore flood advisory remains in effect from 11 am this
morning to midnight EDT tonight...

* Lake Shore flooding... southeast winds will strengthen to 20 to
30 mph with gusts to 35 mph or greater Monday and Monday night.
This will lead to elevated water levels and wave action along
the eastern thumb shoreline. Water levels and waves will then
gradually fall late Monday night as winds shift to the south and
southwest with the passage of a cold front.

* Impacts... shoreline erosion, damage to docks, and minor flooding
along the shore can be expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Lakeshore flood advisory indicates that onshore winds will
generate flooding of low areas along the Lakeshore.

* Prepare, plan and stay informed. Visit www.Weather.Gov/safety
