The Flood Warning continues for
the Maple River at Maple Rapids.
* From Wednesday morning until further notice.
* At 9:15 PM Sunday the stage was 5.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise above flood stage by Wednesday morning and continue
to rise to near 10.1 feet by Friday morning.
* Impact, at 9.0 feet... expect minor flooding of County line Road and
a home along County line Road.
* Flood history, this crest compares to a previous crest of 9.7 feet
on Apr 11 2017.

the Looking Glass river near Eagle.
* From Tuesday morning until further notice.
* At 8:45 PM Sunday the stage was 4.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise above flood stage by late Tuesday morning and
continue to rise to near 10.9 feet by Thursday early afternoon.
* Impact, at 11.0 feet... expect major flooding of homes in DeWitt and
along the river between DeWitt and Eagle.

Wednesday afternoon...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Michigan, south central Michigan,
southwest Michigan, and west central Michigan, including the
following areas, in central Michigan, Clare, Gratiot,
Isabella, Mecosta, Montcalm, and Osceola. In south central
Michigan, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Ionia, and Jackson.
In southwest Michigan, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent,
Ottawa, and Van Buren. In west central Michigan, Lake, Mason,
Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana.

* From noon EST today through Wednesday afternoon

* 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected from today through Wednesday
morning. Locally higher amounts are likely.

* The rainfall, combined with a melting snowpack and a frozen
ground could cause flooding across the area.
