... Foggy conditions across southeast Louisiana and southern
Widespread low clouds and fog over the larger region can be
expected tonight. The fog will vary in intensity, becoming dense
at times when winds lessen. A cold front moving into the area
overnight will aid in dispersing the fog from west to east. While
some areas may be reduced to one-quarter mile, these conditions
should be temporary and will improve as winds increase and drier
air moves in.
Meanwhile, motorists should be alert to sudden changes in
visibility. Use low beam headlights and allow enough distance
between vehicles for safe braking.
