... Flash Flood Watch in effect from 10 PM CDT this evening
through Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of east central Kansas, north
central Kansas, and northeast Kansas, including the following
areas, in east central Kansas, Anderson, Douglas, Franklin,
Geary, Osage, Shawnee, and Wabaunsee. In north central Kansas,
Clay and Washington. In northeast Kansas, Brown, Jackson,
Jefferson, Marshall, Nemaha, Pottawatomie, and Riley.

* From 10 PM CDT this evening through Sunday morning

* a complex of thunderstorms is expected to track eastward across
the area late this evening through the overnight hours into
Sunday morning. An additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall will be
possible over already saturated soils, with locally higher
rainfall amounts possible.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
