... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Wednesday...

* what... ongoing freezing rain and snow transitions to all snow
late this evening. Around one to two tenths of an inch of ice
accretion is expected with total snow accumulations of around
one to three inches. The highest snow totals will be towards
north central Kansas and the Kansas and Nebraska border. Winds
could gust as high as 35 mph.

* Where... portions of central, east central, north central and
northeast Kansas.

* When... until 6 am CST Wednesday.

* Additional details... plan on very slippery and treacherous Road
conditions. Many accidents have already been reported due to
the freezing rain. The hazardous conditions will impact the
evening commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means periods of wintry precipitation
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect slippery covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
