... Areas of dense fog possible overnight and Saturday morning...

Ahead of a cold front arriving early Saturday morning, areas of
dense fog are expected to develop in east central and southeast
Illinois. This should be most widespread beginning around 3 am,
persisting into mid morning Saturday. Visibility at times will be
reduced to around a quarter mile. Locations near the Wabash River
will see lesser amounts of fog.

If traveling across the area late tonight and early Saturday
morning, be prepared for rapid changes in visibility. Slow down
and use low beam headlights.
