the Mississippi River at Burlington.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:00 am Sunday the stage was 14.2 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise above flood stage Wednesday morning and continue
rising to 16.1 feet Friday morning.
* Impact, at 15.0 feet, agricultural flooding occurs.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Illinois, Iowa, and northeast Missouri, including
the following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Hancock, Henderson,
Henry IL, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, and Warren.
In Iowa, Cedar, Des Moines, Henry IA, Iowa, Jefferson,
Johnson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, and
Washington. In northeast Missouri, Clark and Scotland.

* Through late tonight

* a prolonged period of moderate to heavy rain is expected
through this evening. 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected.

* Be prepared for rapidly rising water levels and possible
flooding if you are near a river, stream, or low lying area.
Be ready to move to higher ground if heavy rain develops.
