The Flood Warning continues for
the Skunk River at Augusta.
* Until Wednesday evening.
* At 7:30 PM Saturday the stage was 15.2 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise to 17.0 feet Tuesday morning. Fall below flood stage
Wednesday evening.
* Impact, at 16.0 feet, water floods some agricultural land near the
river.

the Mississippi River at Burlington.
* Until further notice.
* At 7:00 PM Saturday the stage was 19.3 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast, rise to 20.8 feet Thursday.
* Impact, at 20.5 feet, water affects several homes on first street
in Dallas City. Carman Road Blacktop is affected by floodwaters.
Water also reaches the top of the Niota town levee.

* At 4:00 PM Saturday the stage was 14.7 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast, rise to 16.5 feet Thursday evening.
* Impact, at 15.0 feet, lock and dam 18 is closed.

* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast, rise to 19.3 feet Thursday.
* Impact, at 19.0 feet, seepage behind keithsburgs levee affects
businesses on 4th street and affects Keithsburg Road at Pope
creek.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Illinois, Iowa, and northeast Missouri, including
the following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Hancock, Henderson,
Henry IL, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, and Warren.
In Iowa, Des Moines, Henry IA, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa,
Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, and Washington. In northeast
Missouri, Clark and Scotland.

* Through Sunday morning

* thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are possible. This may lead
to flash flooding as soils are saturated in the region.

* Flash flooding is possible especially in urban areas and along
small creeks and streams. In addition, the heavy rain may also
lead to further rises on rivers that are already flooding.

Monitor forecasts and take action if flash flood warnings are
