south central Fremont County in central Colorado...
north central Custer County in southeastern Colorado...

* until 700 PM MDT

* at 406 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to around one inch
of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Texas Creek and rural areas east and south of Texas Creek south of
US 50.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A flood advisory means stream flows are elevated, or ponding of
water in low areas is occurring or is imminent.

At 409 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southeast of Texas Creek, or 42 miles west of Pueblo, moving
northwest at 25 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
open country 10 miles southeast of Texas Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
