Special Statement
Issued: 3:05 AM CST Dec. 13, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Approaching redflag fire weather criteria this afternoon...

The combination of low fuel moisture... afternoon relative
humidity between 26 and 30 percent and strong southwest winds will
bring conditions near redflag criteria across all of northeast
Arkansas and the bootheel of Missouri this afternoon.

A burn ban remains in effect for several counties across northeast
Arkansas. Outdoor burning is not recommended today across all of
northeast Arkansas due to the elevated fire weather conditions.

Weather conditions will improve early this evening as the passage
of a cold front increases the relative humidity and diminishes the
winds.
